Warm fuzzy feelings aside...

My word... when did people get soo stupid? And no this is not silly or a blonde moment. This is utterly dense, stare-at-me-with-blank-looks stupid. You know what? I actually think people play stupid so someone will get irritated and offer to do their work for them... I've seen it happen and NO! I will not do your work for you while you take a 5 hour coffee break.

I dont get it. I'm an IT auditor but honestly my work is not mind bending stuff. I spend alot of my time surfing the web and being bored. So when I have work to do, I know its a foreign concept but I actually do it. And yes, sometimes I think I'm mad to stay in a job that gives me so much time to do nothing but at least I actually work... now and then...

How then can people do even less and strive to do absolutely nothing, zero, zipo, zilch... And then even worse want me to hold their hand because they're too incapable of getting themselves lunch.

I love my life. I do. But I think my job is going to kill me. Day by day millions of brain cells are dying and irritating people are making me think that I am going to go off the deep end and heaven forbid.. actually do some work!!!

you are not alone. we have the same kind of lazy people in the US. at least you can say you have a job (i am presently out of work). you can also say that you have at least one blog follower...me. i know little about IT, but i have seen many folks play dumb at work and in college. you sure do go a long time between posts. hang in there. have you tried exposing these incompetent coworkers to your boss for entertainment? this might add some fun to your work day.

Its sad to hear you're out of work presently. I know how bad that can be. We are indeed lucky on this side. We have barely been hit by the economic crisis. I've seen alot of the troubles in other countries tho and it really is a horrible situation..

You are right, lazy people are everywhere :) I did some exposing last year and it had some hilarious consequences! But in the end lazy people do have a way of sticking around.. all I can do is be firm that I will not come to the aid of their lazing... lol.

Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with you and I have faith that He will provide for you.

Will try not to go AWOL for so long again :)

Don't create an Ishmael..

Its been such a rough few weeks. I have felt and seen God move in a way that I have never seen before. Recently went to a government hospital, to do an outreach. I saw the heart of God. I was so moved by what we were doing and seeing how much God loves and cares for people. It will forever be one of the most life defining moments of my life. I feel a calling on my life like never before. A calling to serve and be the hand of God. To love people and reach out to anyone and everyone who has a need. I never saw this side of me or God but it is truly so  beautiful. I feel so humbled, honored and grateful to be used in this manner and I just cant picture anything else more important to pursue in my life. But... and there's always a but... I am acutely aware that I have to pay the bills. I also have an unexplained amount of faith that I will be ok and God will provide. So now what. Well apparently, I need to be still and wait.
